Ukachi, Ngozi Blessing (Ph.D, CLN, IFLA/OCLC Fellow, FICA, MNIM) is the Head, Africana and Government publications Section of the Research and Bibliographic Department of University of Lagos Library. She is the Immediate Past Chairperson, Information Technology (I.T.) Section of the Nigerian Library Association and a Past General Secretary of Nigerian Library Association, Lagos State Chapter.
She has won several international awards and is the first Nigerian to win the IFLA/OCLC Early Career Development Fellowship Award hosted in the United States of America in 2012. Some of her other awards include; the “Essay Competition Award organized by the Academic and Research Section of IFLA in Gothenburg, Sweden in 2010; Carnegie CPD Fellowship award held at University of Pretoria, South Africa in 2015; Emerald Literati Award of Excellence in 2016 and IFLA 2016 Conference Sponsorship Award sponsored by the American Library Association.
Ngozi is a renowned researcher. She is professionally interested in the areas of electronic information service delivery. She has published widely and has also presented papers locally and internationally. She is passionate about training and disseminating information on trends and current ICT skills necessary for effective information service delivery.
